DISCLAIMER BY THE CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION

In accordance with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Market) Regulations 2021 and the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission “Guidelines for Registration and Filing Application for Establishing and Operating Over the Counter (OTC) Platform” 2022, the OTC Platform shall not engage in any negotiation, execution, clearance or settlement of the contracts. It shall maintain neutrality without influencing the decision-making of the participants in any manner. It shall only disseminate information, whereas actual finalization of the transaction & financial settlement shall take place outside the OTC Platform.

The participants interested in enrolling themselves as members/clients/any other users of the OTC Platform are advised to read all the relevant documents carefully, including the CERC (Power Market) Regulations 2021, CERC OTC Guidelines 2022, Statement of Reasons for OTC Guidelines 2022, terms and conditions of the registration granted by the CERC to the OTC Platform(s), and the Business Rules and Bye-Laws of the respective OTC Platform(s). The participants are further advised to enrol themselves as members/clients/any other users of the OTC Platform(s) after satisfying themselves with all the commercial aspects, including the fees and charges covered under the Business Rules and Bye-Laws of the OTC Platform(s), uninfluenced by the fact that the CERC has granted registration to the OTC Platform(s), since these are the matters exclusively between the parties.
